Lisa Cantillon is the CEO and director of KTA. Lisa has specialised in the area of private client tax advice since qualifying as an AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) in 2004, having obtained third place in the first part of the CTA exams in 2002.
Lisa is the co-author of the Irish Tax Institute publication which is in its 2nd edition entitled Practical Income Tax - The Professional's Guide
Lisa is widely recognised as a leading expert advising high net worth individuals on all matters. Lisa has particular expertise in in the expatriate area, advising individuals moving to and out of Ireland and related international pension and social security issues for mobile workers. Lisa also specialises in estate tax planning for gift and inheritance tax for high net worth individuals and their families.
Lisa's other main area of expertise is the taxation of severance payments, other employment related tax issues and individuals retiring to Ireland with various pre and post foreign retirement products.
Lisa has lectured for the Irish Taxation Institute for a number of years and continues to lecture on a regular basis. Lisa has been a guest lecturer for various financial advisory organisations in respect of various private client tax matters. Lisa has sat on the Education Committee for the Irish Taxation Institute for the last number of years. Lisa is part of an International Tax Specialist Group (ITSG) which is a network of tax specialists with members in over 50 countries around the world. ITSG consists of a closely knit team of international advisers. All members keep in touch with the world scene and have a working knowledge of taxation in other countries.
