Summer Soiree (“Death and Taxes”)

On the 11th of July 2025 the Probate Bar Association held a joint event with the Tax Bar Association under the title “Death and Taxes”.  One speaker from each Association delivered a paper to an audience that was made up of members from both and the event was chaired by Grainne Duggan SC and John Donnelly SC.  The speakers were Niamh Ryan BL on "The Tax Consequences of Probate Settlements" and Rosemarie Carroll BL on "Update on Probate Case Law" and the presentations were followed by drinks and a barbecue afterwards in the Sheds.
