Probate Bar Workshop (Arklow Bay Hotel)

On the 10th of October 2025 the Probate Bar Association was invited to make a presentation to the combined members of the Wicklow and Wexford Bar Associations.  The event was held in the Arklow Bay Hotel in the afternoon and three speakers from the PBA delivered papers on ‘The Jurisdiction of the Non-Contentious Probate List’, ‘Testamentary Capacity’ and ‘Recent Probate and Succession Case-Law”. The event was very well attended and there was very positive feedback from the solicitors.  In particular they were pleased with the very practical theme of the papers and the emphasis on the proofs required for different applications and the procedural issues that have to be borne in mind when coming before the Court.
